Lia Koo and I were asked to lead the relaunch of Airbnb to Korea. Korea believed that Airbnb was just rooms in peoples houses. So we went out to change that perception with some of the most memorable stays we could find and gave them an idea of the type of fun they could have in one of our stays. It worked and brought brand awareness up by 22% amongst our key demo, Gen Z.
